Huttonbranding is a strategic brand consultancy working with small to medium enterprise clients to develop brand strategy, direct creative artists, digital developers, marketing analysts and media production teams.

 

Clients are either start up's or business looking to develop markets, brand position or product development.

Huttonbranding will workshop to define your Brand Identity, develop your Brand Strategy and can assist with your Marketing Plan. By conducting a thorough assessment of your business look, operations, staff buy-in, competitors and your marketing objectives, the results can be confronting or enlightening to business owners and managers.

 

The key objective of Huttonbranding is to work collaboratively, indentifying a clear direction from which the client can plan, execute and evaluate performance of its decisions and actions against key performance objectives.

Two key attributes that influenced all of the vocations I have persued are; people and communication. Another sphere of influence in my development was the sport of rowing. Rowing instilled a number of key disciplines- preparation, focus, teamwork and execution to achieve a goal.

 

Early on I worked in Hospitality and Tourism, whilst persuing a High Performance career in rowing. At the conclusion of my rowing career, I worked as a professional pearl diver for Maxima Pearling Company in the Australian South Sea Pearl industry, where my fitness and love of teamwork were an asset.

 

Opportunities arose in the areas of pearl valuation and product marketing, which lead to an on-going interest in the wholesale and retail of Australian South Sea Pearls. My interest in brand development stemmed from a waning pearl market and the increased branding activities of high end jewellery retailers.

Understanding the importance of branding and the emerging digital market, lead to a marketing and sales role for a West Australian regional airline. I identified a re-brand was required and set about reviewing brand identity and brand strategy. Through engaging an ad agency and internally managing the company re-brand, success in increased sales and global tourism exposure was aqchieved.

 

A new opportunity as Business Development Manager presented with internationally recognised Ad agency- Lateral Aspect in 2005. By 2008, Huttonbranding was established, with a focus on brand strategy planning and execution.

Along with specialising in brand strategy, I continue to conduct Australian South Sea Pearl sales to select clients and maintain a mentor/coach position in an elite schoolboy rowing program at Scotch College Perth.
